Our 5th graders traveled to Springfield, Illinois to deepen their study of Abraham Lincoln and bring history to life. They visited Lincoln’s tomb, where Abraham and his family are laid to rest, explored his home, and quite literally “touched history” as they ran their hands along the original handrail. At the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum, they experienced immersive exhibits that made the past feel vivid and real.
Students were fully engaged throughout the trip, and this hands-on experience will remain a meaningful part of their history learning for years to come.
